Rati Kanta
Rama Kanta (Siddhakathi) 177x - 18xx
|
|
|
Ramakanta migrated from Mulghar to Siddhakathi, after his son inherited the zemindary.
|
Written genealogy (without years of birth or death) are available from Aditya Sen (contemporary to or prior
to Akbar & Prapaditya) to Rama Kanta (who migrated to Siddhakathi). The current generation remembers until
Durgagati (born during the 1st or the 2nd decade of 19th century), who inherited the zemindary at Siddhakathi.
The current generation believes tfat Durga Gati is Rama Kanta's son. The 8th generation from Aditya Sen to
Durga Gati spans around 240 years, and averages to 30 years per generation. The gap between the generations in
16th, 17th & 18th centuries is more likely to be lesser than 25 years. In that case, Durga Gati was probably
Rama Kanta's great grandson, and not son.
